In this assessment you are invited to demonstrate your development of knowledge and understanding of the material covered within the module, particularly comprising theory of strategic management, corporate governance, business ethics and corporate social responsibility and their application to practice, by means of critical analysis of a Case Study.
You are specifically required to critically consider the Charity Sector Case Study.
Your analysis will comprise engagement with and critical examination of (at least) two strategic management theories or models, each drawn from different Schools of Strategic Management, as defined and explored within the module; that is, from one of the three foundational Schools of strategic management and/or one of the more recent alternative theories or approaches.
Your analysis should comprise a clear, well-argued, and critical explanation as to why you have selected these models or theories over other areas of investigation, including careful consideration of their advantages and limitations.
Analysis will then involve critical consideration of the Case Study; from the differing perspectives of the strategic management models and theories you have selected.
Within your writing you may take the opportunity to also consider your own understanding of theory and what the limitations of your choices and decisions might be.
