Identify a typical curriculum ‘topic’ for pupils within the 3 to 7 age range. Focus on the curriculum in Wales. Design a medium term plan which details potential learning experiences across all areas of the curriculum.

Select one learning and teaching activity from it and develop this into a learning and teaching session (about 30 minutes) using the indoor and/or outdoor environment.

A session plan is required, with links made to the relevant curriculum framework/s for the chosen age group. The age, ability and maturity of the learners should be considered when planning the session.

Design and make a resource/s to promote the delivery of the learning.
