Adolescent Power Point
Description
Create a power point presentation for parents on a current topic in child or adolescent development.
Work together as a group to develop a brief presentation identifying the most important factors for the class to consider when thinking about the current issue (20 minutes).
Presentations should maintain a neutral, evidence-based position , they should present statistics that are relevant , and describe multiple relevant studies that might help the class understand what is known in this topic. A minimum of 6 peer reviewed articles should be cited in each presentation.
All presentations require that students incorporate relevant diversity issues broadly defined; this may include considering gender, race/ethnicity, ability/disability, etc.
