Create a two-sided, tri-fold informational brochure that provides an overview comparing types I and II diabetes.
Include the causes of these diseases, constraints associated with the population, tips for healthy eating, and other pertinent information to the topic. The following statement must be on your brochure: “For educational purposes only. This project was designed by undergraduate college students.”
This brochure will be made and submitted in a digital format. Microsoft Word has existing templates you can use to create the brochure. Open a new Word document and instead of selecting “blank document,” search for various brochure templates. Select a desired template and begin to create your assignment.
Include the following:
An overview of types I and II diabetes
Causes of the diseases and potential impact on pancreatic hormones
Constraints associated with the population
Common treatment for these diseases
Common nutrient concerns
For each recommendation, you must include an explanation of why this is a good choice and include a cited reference. For example, if you chose whole grains, you must state” “Whole grains provide fiber, which…(citation),” as your explanation.
Well-known, approved by national association(s) diets for this disorder (such as the DASH diet)
Multiple images
The brochure must be visually appealing, colorful, and incorporate multiple images.
