Prepare for and develop a communication plan you can follow to help you communicate with your supervisor about workplace and non-workplace factors and advocate on behalf of yourself to improve your personal wellbeing all times you need to adhere to company Code of Conduct in relation to professional behaviour, respectful communication.

To achieve a satisfactory result, your assessor will be looking for your ability to demonstrate the following key skills/tasks/knowledge to an acceptable industry standard:

Demonstrated knowledge and skills required to:
Undertake necessary preparation for creation of a communication plan to help you communicate with your simulated role play supervisor to advocate on your own behalf to improve your level of personal wellbeing, including:
Identification two workplace and two non-work factors that impact your wellbeing, both positively and negatively
Explanation of the link between identified factors and your level of personal wellbeing
Determination of an appropriate style of communication to be used and rationale for same
Selection of one appropriate alternate method of communication, other than face to face, that could be used to communicate and discuss this situation
Development of a communication plan to guide you when you conduct your recorded simulated role play with one other person who will act as your workplace supervisor in Assessment Task 3 and advocate on your own behalf to enhance your personal wellbeing.
Ensure that you adhere to Code of Conduct principles in relation to professional behaviour, respectful communication (email, meetings and conversations) at all times.
Generation of a strategy (plan/action) to deal with a negative response from your supervisor to your requests.
Write an email to your simulated role play supervisor requesting a meeting where you can meet with them to implement your communication plan.
