What characteristics are sociologists looking at when they refer to an individual’s socioeconomic status?

How does the social class an individual is born into shape their life chances and choices? Provide one example.

Directions

This exam will consist of five questions, each requiring a short essay response. The exam will cover Chapters 1–7 and will require you to apply the information you have learned all term to sociological scenarios.
