2: Take a screenshot of your favorite part; You can add this image to the end of your essay word .doc.
3: Write a reflective essay describing the exhibit and your interpretation/reaction to it. Submit a paper summarizing and assessing your experiences using these key components below:
-Identify the museum and describe the exhibit and details surrounding your visit such as location, day and time, fee (if any), environment (was the museum/exhibit busy? noisy? quiet?), who did you attend the exhibition with? (Note: It is often helpful once you select the exhibit you will visit, to read about it and think about what your expectations are. You can then compare them to your impressions after you have visited the exhibition).
-State the exhibition BIG IDEA/Goal. What do you think the curator wanted you to learn, contemplate, or experience in the exhibition?
Describe the way the objects/exhibit was displayed and presented. Provide sufficient details as to understand the display that you observed and experienced. Include details such as lighting, labels, arrangement, pathways, clustering of objects, anything that catches your attention or perhaps should have, but didn’t.
-Assess the exhibit.
How successful was the exhibit- what was your overall impression? Did it match the description advertised? Did it meet your expectations? Were the goals clear and worthwhile? Did you perceive any unspecified goals driving the program? Were the facilities, equipment, and supplies adequate? Was the time amount of information about right? Did you wish for more or less? -What were the strongest and weakest elements of the exhibit? Was there any opportunity to provide an evaluation of the exhibit or other feedback opportunities?
-What if anything would you change? If it were repeated what changes would you suggest that might enhance or improve the program?
