Health disparities are large differences in health outcomes between groups based on the social determinants of health. Investigate healthcare disparities in your state (if you are currently living overseas, use the last state you lived in). Explain what challenges disparate populations face in your state. Discuss and critique at least one initiative that your state has engaged in to reduce healthcare disparities.
