ASSESSMENT TASK 1: CRITERIA
Students are required to:
• Define and describe inclusive practice in the context of contemporary Australian healthcare
• Define and discuss the concepts of ‘inclusion’ and ‘exclusion’ in contemporary Australian healthcare and provide an example/s of inclusion and exclusion in your local community
• Discuss the implications of inclusive practice and the impact it can have on patient health outcomes
Evidence of reading widely should be demonstrated in your discussion. This will include approximately 10-15 quality
references. The references must be recent, for example books from 2010 – 2020 and journals from 2015 – 2020
inclusive.
Referencing must adhere the conventions of APA 7th edition for all in-text and reference list citations.
