7. Have paper and pencil ready to take notes. Select a local company that has a website. Using a desktop computer, go to the homepage of that company’s website. Test the navigation aids on that page and jot down any problems you experience. Next, using a mobile phone, test the navigation aids on the same homepage and jot down any differences you notice and any problems you experience. Look back over your notes. If there were no problems, reflect on why that might be. After all, you were using either the same web page or versions of the same web page on two very different devices. If there were problems, try to diagnose a few if not all of them. And whether there were problems or not, think about the types of differences you noticed and the possible reasons for them. Add to your notes. (Learning Objectives 4, 5)
