Review the information you read about the Viet Nam war from chapters 5-8 (Chapters are attached). Pretend that you are an advisor to President Johnson in 1967. Create two bulleted lists based on your reading; one that supports why the U.S. must increase military action in Viet Nam, one the supports why the U.S. must not increase military action in Viet Nam.
On a separate page, write a two to three paragraph (200-300 words) essay explaining what you think U.S. policy toward Vietnam should have been in 1967 and why. Support your opinion with facts … but only facts that could have been known in 1967. Be sure to cite your sources.
