You work in a consulting company and you are requested to prepare and present a business proposal for a destination selection for an airline. YOU will select the airline and the destination as well as the origin airport. The airline should be currently in operation and the route must NOT be one which is currently operated by your chosen airline.
Factors you should consider are; demand characteristics of the route selected, supply and cost characteristics of the route, which sources you expect the airline to generate its revenue from, and a competitor analysis, both in terms of direct airline competitors, competition to nearby airports, alternative transport modes etc.
