My research question is The effect of Minority Middle School Parental Program on Future College Preparedness.
My goal for is for children of color and low income to be accepted into the college of choice. In order for that to happen and bridgethe gap, parental involvement needs to occur at an earlier rate than high school.
My Hypthesis: Developing programs for parents in Middle Schools for college readiness will increase:
Trust and relationships with counselors
Their children will do the same and carry into high school
The parent and student will have increased preparedness in H.S.
Students will get accepted to their college of choice (MY FAVORITE)
