1) Be sure to explain to your reader the context of the question for example with (1): what is the ‘problem of the external world’?
2) Be sure to take a position and argue for it i.e. with reference to (1) do not merely describe that “some people believe that there is an external world and some people do not.”
3) Be sure to argue for the position that you take. Do not merely conclude dogmatically. Give reasons, provide examples to support your case. Drawing upon the arguments in the lectures and the readings and the tutorials will be helpful here
4) What would you say to someone who disagreed with your position? What might their argument be? How would you critically respond to it?
Is it a meaningful possibility that the inside of your mind is the only thing that exists or even if there is a world outside your mind, it is totally unlike what you believe it to be?
