Description
The 1,500 word research report should identify the implications of one or more pieces of research for both health and social care professionals and the broader public debate on a topic of your choice. Students will need to demonstrate awareness of methodology and be able to critically analyse public policy and professional debate in the light of research evidence; The report should be presented in a report format and should include a title page; contents page; subheadings etc.

Introduction
Identify clearly which research literature you are analysing in relation to public policy and professional debates.
State rationale for the selection of your research report(s) – relate the research to your topic or question and identify key policy or practice issues
Establish a clear position in relation to topic title or question i.e. this may relate to policy, theory or practice
Identify the report structure i.e. which theory, methodological or partnership issues to be discussed
Main body of report
Headings that relate to your structure – Review research literature within the structure and to what extent it may inform policy and/or practice
Ensure there is a methodological section relating to your research study selected
Ensure consistent discussion include implications
Identify limitations of both the research and/or your report
Conclusion
Summarise the key argument(s) and key implications of this research and for further research
References
Include research texts as well as relevant supporting evidence related to the topic and those drawn from the module, Harvard style referencing.
