*** Research Significance
The significance of the present research is to add on the existing literature of organizational performance and innovative work behavior. In addition to this, there is limited literature on innovative work behavior in the healthcare sector. Saleem, Tufail, Atta and Asghar (2015) for instance present the motivational level and perceived stress of health care employees that drive their innovative work behavior. On the other hand, studies on innovative work behavior consider different factors that drive such behavior. For example, Shanker, Bhanugopan, Van der Heijden and Farrell (2017) consider how organizational climate drive innovation, while other studies
*** Research Objectives
The main aim of this research is to undertake a statistical analysis of the link between innovative work behavior and performance of public health system in Saudi Arabia .
*** Research Samples
The research sample will be based upon tertiary public hospitals of Saudi Arabia and within those healthcare professionals working in 10 departments from each tertiary hospital will be included in the study. The sample will further involve restricting of research location and the location selected has 7 tertiary hospitals which make a total of 70 departments under study. An average of 10 employees will be selected from each departed hence the total number of respondents will be 700.
