ASSIGNMENT:
Construct a 1500-word assignment on the topic of:
“Challenges of working with bariatric patients”
This should be addressed from your profession specific perspective (e.g. challenges for podiatrists or physiotherapists or radiographers or paramedics).
Addressing the assignment from one perspective will allow you to develop arguments that all relate to the same topic. So, for example, you may want to focus on moving and handling; mobility; rehabilitation; image quality etc (this is not an exhaustive list).
The assignment should consist of:
Introduction – Introduce the topic, the importance to your profession and to declare the major sections (approx. 200 words)
Search Strategy: A summary of your search strategy (100-200 words).
The main focus of the assignment should be evaluation of the information in the key references you use to present your case. You may justify why references have been included. Remember your evaluation can include positive and negative comments.
Having presented your evaluation of the evidence from individual sources, try and pull together what you feel are one or two findings that occur in at least two of the references (800 – 1000 words)
Conclusion – Clearly state key information you have reviewed that may inform practice (approx. 200 words)
