You can discuss poverty or how to see stewardship and service differently or how we measure church/charity effectiveness or anything that you think applies, this is a personal statement but is expected to include citations (1 per page is a good guide) and rigorous thinking about the topic. Dig deep, a “we should do better with poverty paper” is too easy and not very thoughtful, deeper explanations on how we do that is the key.
