You are employed at “Junior Hat” app development studio who are soon to launch their new product “Hybrid learning app”. This is an app designed to help students with coding, equations and learning maths. With the app, students can photograph an equation and the app will break it down and answer it with a step-by-step outline. The development studio team have realised that, to reach the appropriate market, they need to reimagine their marketing approach.
They strongly believe that there are excellent opportunities for social media marketing that could involve audience participation that would help the campaign become viral and extend its reach. They would like to see a good level of humour to break the myth that mathematics and coding is a serious and impenetrable subject. They are also interested in ideas that would enable the audience to see how valuable the app is in day-to-day life. There is also a budget to include potential freebies and giveaways to users that contribute to the campaign, such as free app licences to give to family & friends.
To decide on whether to progress further with the commission, the Hybrid app team would like you to present the following to the Board of Directors in the form of a written project report and a Presentation for the stakeholders:
