You have just graduated and today was the first real day of your job as a grain elevator manager. As you pull into the parking lot of the grain elevator you are going to manage, you see a sign on the side of the building—reserved parking for elevator manager. You have never been this important before, but it feels good.
This is it. All of the time spent in classrooms and company training programs were over. Now it was time to go to work.
You enter the building and introduce yourself to the staff. Sean Murdock, one of your employees, escorts you to your office. Your name is already on the door. It takes about two hours for you to unload all your materials and get the computer set up the way you want it.
