Homeostasis is defined as the dynamic state in which the body’s internal environment is maintained within normal range. All of the vital organ systems learned in this course contribute to homeostasis, thus the entire human organism is a sum of all its parts working together.

Is the reproductive system vital to homeostasis? Why or why not? Explain your reasoning.
