Take a particular debate within Education, say why it is significant, lay out the various opposing positions and then argue for your own position. In effect this could be the equivalent of a briefing paper or advice to a senior policy maker.
You should be able to identify the various theoretical and ideological positions taken by participants in the debate and comment on their interpretation and handling of evidence.
