This report focuses on the use of particular methods of analysing and interpreting data on your data set. The chosen method is IPA.
Guidelines:
You should provide a very brief introduction to the research topic and the chosen method of data collection. This is to provide context for the analysis of your data. You should then focus on the approach to analysis. Your work should include an introduction to the theoretical assumptions behind the selected approach to analysis, a description of the process of analysis, an interpretation of the data / material, and an evaluation of the analytical approach used by comparison with another method. You must put your annotated transcript showing data analysis in the Appendix (the transcript is on the attached file) need to be analysed (IPA).
You should think about:
What theoretical presuppositions underpin your approach to your analysis?
Why is your chosen method appropriate for the data that you have collected and to your research question? Be sure to compare it with other approaches.
What are the steps that you must take in order to complete the analysis?
What are some of the strengths and weaknesses of your proposed analytical approach?
