Some people believe that if marijuana was legalized and regulated, it would reduce gang violence and reduce income for organized crime groups. Research at least two of the states that have legalized marijuana and discuss the pros and cons that have been realized at this point. Discuss the issues surrounding the growers, the stores selling the product and the issues that law enforcement is dealing with due to criminal and/or civil penalties.
