Compare and contrast qualitative and quantitative research methods.
Using a variety of sources (journal articles, books
etc) for the essay. Learning outcomes are
– Develop an appreciation of the principles of research and its application to healthcare;
– The ability to explore and evaluate a variety of methods of data collection and data analysis;
– The ability to differentiate between quantitative and qualitative research methods;
– The ability to be able to construct an assignment, understanding the importance of the component parts of assignment structure as per the module learning outcomes.
