This element can be a Canadian province, territory, or region; a Canadian symbol, food, or icon; a Canadian ethnic or minority group; a Canadian political party; or even a Canadian celebrity, historical figure, or other notable individual or group (Basically, you can write about anything to do with Canada or that you associate with the country).
Describe the element and consider what it means to Canada and Canadians. What is the history and cultural relevance of that element? Why or how is that element fundamental to a better understanding of Canada? Assess and reflect on why you chose to write about that particular element.
This assignment is not to be a descriptive summary/history or encyclopedia-type entry. Be sure to thoroughly engage with the topic and demonstrate the importance of that element to Canada and Canadians.
