-How Truth and Reconciliation is commission a form of restorative justice. -Why was it set up? -Did they achieve justice? How? -If they did not achieve it why? -You should show to what extent they met their objectives and also to what extent they did not.
-what restorative justice is and what successful restorative justice would look like. The essay needs to compare how the TRC helped to bring justice for the victims and how it also failed to bring them justice by looking at what is required to achieve restorative justice.
Then it needs to weigh up if the TRC did a good job in bringing justice to the victims (maybe you can assess how black south Africans are doing today and see if this is in any way a direct result of what the TRC achieve, or failed to achieve)
