Performing a Cost Analysis
Analyze costs for a company of your choice using the Cost Comparison Scorecard method (Table 9-2, pg 309). Include a completed Cost Comparison Scorecard (table 9-2, pg. 309) as an appendix of your analysis.
In your analysis include the following:
Given your analysis and comparisons of costs, where would you recommend that the company should focus on cost reduction? Justify your recommendations.
Support your proposal with sound managerial economics.
Submit your responses in a Word document. Answers should be clear, concise, and compelling. Support your answers (external to text) in APA format.
In addition, you will be assessed on how compelling or persuasive you write. If your essay is fewer than 500 words, you are probably not compelling enough, if it is greater than 1000 words, you are not concise enough. Specific reference to the fact, terms used in the course, and logic will all help you to be compelling. Finally, a graduate-level essay shall have no mechanical errors.
