In one of your favorite books, find a well-written descriptive paragraph that demonstrates an aspect of “showing” and not telling. You might choose a well-written passage where the writer “showed” setting, characters, or action.
Copy the descriptive paragraph, placing it in quotation marks in your post. Below this paragraph, tell us the author and title of the book, and why the paragraph is a good example of descriptive writing. Note: You may share up to three consecutive paragraphs if you need to.
