Proposal/Final Paper: You will develop a program proposal that you will design and implement in a specific proposal format.
Within your paper (Needs Statement) must be a minimum of three (3) journal articles regarding your project and you should relate the articles as to how they influenced the program you designed. The aim of this analysis is to critique the questions addressed in the journal articles as well as the methodology used, how it relates to your subject, findings and conclusions. Relate research to social work values as well. This is best served in the Needs Statement of your proposal.
Your paper must build on the information you learned regarding a particular problem you would like to work on within your agency, workplace, community, or on a larger macro level. Being that it will be in a proposal format, it will help you meet the requirements of most funding sources. As an organizational planning instrument, it will help you identify the source of the particular problem and what are the necessary steps to help alleviate that particular problem.
