Dear Selected Teams,
Your company has decided that maybe they need to begin education and training on what needs to be done to insure they are practicing diversity in hiring and encouraging inclusion in the workplace. They need to be encouraged and given a suggested plan of action.
Your team has been requested to find a solution to the following problem that has arisen due to recent occurrences in our world, our country, and our company.
THE PROBLEM: The “4010” Board feels it is important that we as a company organize a training program on promoting diversity and inclusion in all facets of our business and with all employees (old and new).
Using your expertise gained from your experience and recent research (Week 4 videos and articles) present to the Board (me) the following “report” from your team. It is understood that each member of the team may have a different view or solution; therefore, each team member may include their own one to two-page discussion of the proposed question, their suggestions to accomplish this and a possible solution.
These papers should be compiled in one portfolio with one team member giving an introduction and conclusion.
As CEO I personally request APA format Using the materials you have read or viewed as part of the weekly assignments.
Below is a brief outline for your presentation. Send the following suggestions:
1. Introduction of the problem as a whole (team leader)
(Next add to portfolio the individual team reports which must include the following)
2. Explain long term values of encouraging diversity in the employee base.
3. Give suggestions for how to encourage inclusivity in the workplace based on the research.
4. Share your ideas/solutions to the problem personally.
(Next add a conclusion to the portfolio agreed upon by all who submitted an essay above)
5. Conclusion and overview of team’s findings (team secretary or a volunteer.)
Each paper should include references used from text, online sources, and TED talks.
This “report” will need to be submitted by the team by Wednesday, 9/22, at 11:59 PM.
