For this assignment you do not have to write a paper. You will be watching a video, taking notes on the video that you are watching.
Watch the video of a typical classroom teaching situation, focusing on what the teacher says and does in terms of instruction, and how the students respond. (Students are not visible, although they can be heard.) .
As you observe, make your own chart using Danielson’s model with elements and levels of performance to gather and document information. Script good techniques as well as areas that need work. Make suggestions for improvement.
When you are finished, submit the documentation for your observation (chart, comments, etc.)
Note: Although you will be documenting a single domain, be sure to think about how all of Domain 2 and 3 might apply.
