Complete the Exploration Activity on rocks. Use the textbook and Earth Parts videos to answer the following questions.

Next, answer the questions .
Describe the steps needed to form a detrital sedimentary rock from a previously existing rock (hint: you have to start with breaking the original rock into smaller pieces).
Embed (cite resource) a picture of the type of rock you’ve formed in your steps.
What does the size of the particles in your sedimentary rock tell you about the environment in which the particles settled (Make sure you are using the correct particle “size” terminology.)

Classify (and identify) one of the rocks in the picture series and explain how you know what type it is. If you can identify the rock.
