I completely agree that diversity helps stimulate creativity. I also agree that diverse groups are more objective when it comes to making decisions, as I mentioned in my initial post., ” Diverse teams are more likely to constantly reexamine facts and remain objective. “(HBR, 2019). In the past decisions were simply made based on what was done in the past. To truly progress organizations must encourage critical thinking and creativity to solve today’s modern problems. When it comes to national security, diversity is incredibly important because, In order to make decisions to best protect the people of the U.S., the people making these decisions should reflect the diverse population they serve.
