maturation theory, psychodynamic theory, behaviorist theory, social learning theory, constructivist theory, humanistic theory, and ecological theory.
Determined strategies that theorists would use to address a given classroom situation.

Introduction
Developmental theory provides a framework of how we would expect children to grow and learn.
Each theory contributes to our understanding of child development. Knowing and recognizing each theory is helpful to our understanding of children in order to plan developmentally appropriate environments and activities for children.
