Prepare a thorough biography of Dr Rebecca Lee Crumpler an African American historical figure.
Biographical paper is Dr. Rebecca Lee Crumpler. She was an American physician, nurse, and author who was the first female African American doctor to publish one of the first African American medical texts. Dr. Crumpler wrote A Book of Medical Discourses, which discussed fertility, health, and human growth and development.
She focused her treatment efforts on serving the African American community who had trouble accessing medical care, treating poor mothers and children, and later moving onto the treatment of freed slaves denied treatment by white doctors. In my opinion, Dr. Crumpler deserves a more prominent place in history for her dedication to her fellow African Americans.
There needs to be good quality (that is ACADEMIC and Peer-Reviewed) research available, of course, and documentation of sources.
