Structured Interview
Description
1. Pick a job title you plan to interview for in the future. Find that job on the Bureau of Labor Statistics Occupational Outlook Handbook website (Links to an external site.).
2. Select the “How to Become One” tab on the page describing your future career. Scroll to the bottom of the page and look for “Important Qualities.” Those are some of the KSAs for this position.
3. Pick FOUR of the listed qualities and write BEHAVIORAL interview questions assessing those skills.
4. Write your own answer to the interview question you wrote, providing a specific example from your past life/work experience as evidence within your answer. Your answer should be 5-6 sentences long.
