Social Psychology Essay guideline:
Organization of the essay. Use these headings:
Title: Why is poor replicability considered a problem in social psychology? Construct your answer by expanding on Ferguson’s (2016) contention that “academic psychology is at a crossroads between science and pseudoscience.”
Introduction: Say how you will be dealing with the matter in the title.
Introduce the question that you intend to resolve.
Analysis
Critically analyse (i.e. describe, examine, evaluate…) the contribution of psychological theory and research to the understanding / solving of the question that you’ve identified.
Conclusion: Use the analysis you’ve done to come to some conclusion about how you intended to answer the question in the title of the essay.
References. List the sources you cite in the essay (use the APA format)
Word count: Give the total number of words in the essay, excluding the references. Must be no more than 1000 words (no leeway over that number). It can of course be less.
