The problem “Around 40% of adults who are fitted with hearing aids don’t use them”, in order to help understand these 3 answerable questions are to be formulated. One of these questions will then be selected and a literature search carried out to support it.
Question 1
For compliance in hearing aid use, does counselling during the audiology appointment positively affect the outcome?
Question 2
Does Real Ear Measurement (REM) during hearing aid fitting, provide a better outcome (compliance with aid usage) compared to those patients who did not have REM?
Question 3
Do Virtual (phone / video) follow up appointments provide as much benefit/patient compliance as face-to-face appointments?
