The purpose of this activity is to provide an opportunity to present your ethical perspectives as an educator regarding interactions and collaborations with families. In a minimum five page-paper, present your ethical position with respect to working with families and communities.
Present your views from the standpoint of the age level and /or subject area that you work with.Locate your state Code of ethics as well as that of your professional area. Review both code of ethics and identify the responsibilities and duties toward families. Use these references to create your own definition of ethics.
Describe how you envision collaboration , engagement practices, and responsibilities toward families including those with cultural and linguistic differences.Document your comments using references including your state code of ethics for educators and any other ethics document that pertains to your field
