Ventouse delivery
Fiona is now home 2 days after giving birth to Jake who was a ventous delivery. When you visit her at home you notice that Jake is slightly yellow. He attaches to the breast and has a few sucks but then falls asleep. Fiona is very keen to breastfeed Jake as she was unsuccessful with her first child. Fiona is concerned as this happened with her first child who became very jaundiced and needed phototherapy. Fiona has been hand expressing and feeding this to Jake.
