If this is not available to you, you may find a current event from a hospitality publication (i.e., Nation’s Restaurant News, National Restaurant Association, etc.). You should write a 2-3 page paper on how it is used, how it controls costs, and what would happen if it was not utilized properly.

Speak with the manager about their thoughts on how it’s used and what they think could go wrong if it wasn’t used properly along with providing your own thoughts on how else it could be used or what could be done differently, and what could happen if something wasn’t done properly.

Highlight any terms defined in the class power points. You should be able to use a minimum of 5 throughout the paper. Attach a copy of the form (you may black out any proprietary information) or a manager’s business card (contact information).
