1. How can you include technological tools in your classroom if your school does not have extensive technology resources? Include 1-2 free examples that might be available to you and a short summary of their application.
2. What are the benefits and disadvantages of telling students to look up vocabulary words they are not familiar with. Is there another more effective method?

When you have limited technological tools you have to be creative and think outside the box. I feel as though if you are creative and open to free or non costly tools your classroom can be successful in sharing technology tools to the students. I found a app/website called Novel Effect. Another educator showed a video on TikTok about it and how she used it in her classroom. She bought a mini Bluetooth speaker to play the sounds from the app. In the app it has many different books to choose from and as you’re reading to the class aloud the app makes noises that allow the book to come to life in the background. It engages readers and makes reading fun. They have a free version and a cheap monthly version.

Hello, I hope you all are doing well today. Today has been extremely rough for me in both the pain department and the issue I brought to the department of education. The department of education cannot do anything to help resolve the issue because this person is not technically licensed which is crazy to me since the school is not doing anything. Having your hands tied in this situation reminds me of this week’s topic with being able to assist your students while your hands are tied financially.
