Write a cover letter asking for an interview for an internship or volunteer position at a real company you are interested in.
The letter should be a single page and consist of 3 or 4 paragraphs outlining your reasons for an interest in such a position as well as the applicable qualifications and skills you possess.
Remember the main purpose of this letter is to convince the human resources representative to give you an in-person interview.
There are many other very specific requirements for this letter including font, type size, margins etc.
