Evidenced-Based Application of Motor Learning Principles for a Practitioner The purpose of this assignment is to provide you the opportunity to provide an evidence-based protocol for a specific practitioner who is training (or retraining) a specific motor skill in an applied setting.
For the assignment, the evidence-based application of specific motor learning principles should be for a motor task completed in a vocational, or sport or rehabilitation setting.
Description
The following components musty be explicitly addressed (i.e., sub-headings) in your paper:
1. Identify, describe and classify a specific motor task being examined. Be sure to justify your classification of the motor task. For example, if you have classified the motor task as a discrete task, performed in an open environment, explain how you came to that classification. Utilize peer-reviewed research to support classification where appropriate
2. Identify and discuss a specific practitioner (s) your evidence-based protocol is targeted.
3. Identify and explain two cognitive skills required to successfully perform the motor task.
4. Identify and discuss two motor skills required to successfully perform the motor task.
5. Identify and Discuss the practice condition you would recommend at each stage of skill acquisition to facilitate acquisition of the cognitive and motor skills identified in component 3 and 4 above. Apply a different practice condition at each stage.
6. Discuss how the practitioner will decide when to change the practice condition to progress
through the stages of learning?

7. Identify and briefly describe two peer-reviewed sources you would recommend as required
readings for the practitioner
Paper should NOT exceed 5 double-spaced pages, not including title page, reference page, or
appendices.
Papers exceeding page limits will be deducted marks and content on the pages exceeding

Paper should include a minimum of 5 peer-reviewed sources. Paper should be formatted according to the American Psychological Association, 7th Ed., with a minimum 10 point font.
