Outline of project:
The aim of this project is to conduct a literature review into how radiography can best meet the needs of the transgender community.
This will include the social issues associated with the transgender community and the implications this has for the quality of care delivered by radiographers.
This research will also explore the idea of additional training for radiographers surrounding this area.
Any research completed regarding this topic in radiology will be explored and evaluated as well as specific policies and procedures. A literature review will be conducted by searching databases for relevant articles
using specific criteria to carry out this research.
