Poor communication in nurses arises due to unplanned communication between providers. Data can be passed out too quickly, especially in stressful situations, leading to communication breakdown and causing errors (Johnson et al. 2020).
Nursing practices call for protocols when airing problems. However, differences in power can cause hesitation.
