Housing Social Venture
Description
Our Group is creating a New Social Venture for the Housing Crisis in Australia. The social issue is lack of housing, homelessness, affordability crisis, with impacts from covid-19, and to tackle this issue, we have introduce an enterprise to bring affordable repairs to and maintenance to derelict and unsafe housing situations.
1. Operations of the Social Venture – Provide an overview of the activities that will be performed to generate value. This will also include the geographic location of the social venture, the ventures facilities and equipment required. A high-level timeline of critical events can be included.
2. Social impact measurement – Provide an outline of how social impact will be measured. Include a critical review of which measurement approach will be selected and why.
Do not prepare a full SROI. This will be a forecast SROI and will be used for your venture plan to explain to your audience how you would undergo social impact assessment.
Key elements you should include are:
• Stakeholders who will be engaged – ensure you explain why these have been selected
• Inputs from each stakeholder and your own organisation
• The outputs your venture will produce
• Expected outcomes
• Potential impact
• Financial proxies which could be employed
• Do not include elements such as deadweight, attribution and displacement
