Everyone is a consumer of business analytics. You must be vigilant in identifying bias in the information you receive. The benefits of Business Analytics are touted by every consulting firm and organization that offers system integration.
Attached is an example of this type of article. It is called “Powering Business Decision” Download “Powering Business Decision”by Nancy Ho (2017).
Search the internet for another case study touting the benefits of Business Analytics. The study does not have to be scholarly. For your selected article, answer the following questions.
Which industry(ies) are targeted in the case study?
What Business Analytics benefits are highlighted in the case?
What specific examples are used in the case study to support the use of Business Analytics?
What biases exist, are implied, or are being manipulated by the author(s) of the case study?
What limitations do you see in the effective implementation of the documented solution?
How would you improve upon the solution?
Provide at least three reasons to support your conclusions.
This critical thinking assignment must follow the formatting guidelines in the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association (2010), and contain a title page, between two (2) full pages and four (4) full pages of content, and a reference page.
You must have at least four (4) scholarly references to support your arguments. Because Business Analytics is constantly evolving, all of your references must be within the last five (5) years. You must provide a link for each reference for my review. For each assignment, you are permitted to use a maximum of two (2) course’s reading material articles as references.
This assignment contains multiple questions and topics. Do not use bullets or numbers to answer the questions. Your paper needs to be an essay. You need to integrate the multiple questions and topics into a single cohesive narrative.
Feel free to be creative in your writing. You can use your course reading material, personal experience, and any scholarly web resource to find information for your paper.
