Reflection on Freire
Reflect and write 500 words on why you think we are starting this semester with Paulo Freire and Pedagogy of the Oppressed. In other words, why do you think its important to learn about Paulo Freire and the Pedagogy of the Oppressed?
This assignment will require that you know a bit about Paulo Freire’s ideas on Education. You can start learning about his ideas by watching the videos that I have posted.
make sure to demonstrate that you at least understand some of Freire’s ideas while writing your response. After you understand some of Freire’s ideas, I would like you to reflect on why we are learning about his ideas and how his ideas could affect you. Please be scholarly by doing some research, then be creative by thinking about how Freire’s ideas could affect you.
